ALLOY X _ UNS N06002 | common trade names | Hastelloy X®, Nickelvac® HX, Nicrofer® 4722, Altemp® HX, Inconel® HX | Inconel HX®, also known as Hastelloy X® is a nickel- chromium- iron- molybdenum alloy with great resistance to oxidation. Inconel HX® is used for components such as combustion chambers, tail pipes in aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines, fans and rollers in industrial furnaces. Inconel HX® is available as bar, rod, billet, extruded section, plate, sheet, strip, wire, pipe, and tube. The alloy's oxidation resistance is outstanding up to 2200º F. For hot forming, the alloy should be heated to a starting temperature of 2150°F (1175°C).
